The food is the best Caribbean food in Bridgeport!! Spices are on point! Variety of meats offered with great side dishes. You can eat-in, but it is noisey because of the crowd. There is an outside seating area also. I find the service to be slow paced. If you're on lunch break, you may want to skip this place. Curry chicken, ribs, seafood stew are great!! I'm soo upset, recently they down sized their lunch portions drastically!! (The size of a dessert container), but they also made the price cheaper. You decide....Food is still good

Food is superb but they didn't have the special of the day as it was advertised. They don't answer the phone and I drove all the way from west haven on the day they are supposed to always have curry shrimp only for them to be serving a completely different dish at one location and no shrimp at all at their other location. Super annoying and sadly rings true to that stereotype that black restaurants never have what's on the menu.

My sister treated me to some birthday takeout. The meat dishes are ample, but I'm meatless, so I opted for the curry shrimp over callaloo rice. The portion size to price ratio is great! You get a good amount of food. Street parking can be challenging, depending on the day & time. But the service was pretty quick. I believe they offer specials on certain days of the week. They also have limited outdoor dining. I had a good amount of shrimp in my serving, but I was so into the rice which was amazing, that I didn't have many shrimp. But the texture and flavor was great. They also added in chopped corn on the cob and it was sweet. This was a delicious meal to celebrate my birthday!

An Uber angel took me here and ordered my food. Thank you. I got the ackee and salt fish with dumplings and okro. It was my first time having it and it was amazing. It was kind of hot so I had to keep giving my daughter Juice to cool down the heat in her mouth. The lady that prepared the food was sweet as pie and gave me salt water on the house to help with my diarrhea. I love my Caribbean people dem. Bless
